About the Feast

On the evening of April 14, 2022, we remember a very special occasion. Regarded by many as the holiest occasion in the Christian calendar, we follow Christ's example and instructions by sharing in His Passover symbols of unleavened bread and wine, followed by footwashing of brothers and sisters in Christ, as He instructed His followers that they should do.

It is a mysterious and beautiful ceremony, filled with meaning, cleansing believers from head to toe and renewing their faith and devotion to our Lord and Saviour, as they proclaim His death till He comes again.

We know that many who celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles would like to participate in the Lord's Passover and footwashing, so we are sharing this event invitation through the Feast WA website.

We will be hosting a Passover event in our local area and invite you to join us. Our planned location is in the Ellenbrook area. We will, however, be finalising the location based on numbers, venue suitability and availability.

This event is for those who have committed their lives to Jesus Christ. The symbols are not to be taken lightly, nor by one who has not already committed to our Saviour in faith.

We encourage you to deeply consider and follow the instructions laid down in 1 Corinthians 11:17-34, as well as to read through Christ's examples in the Gospels, so that you will come and celebrate in a manner befitting the King of Kings and honouring His New Covenant.

If you are planning to attend, please register via the website or email peter@lamplighter.com.au. Without registration, we will not be able to adequately plan for the evening. Once location details are finalised, we will advise you. This will be well in advance. Thank you.

Please plan to bring your own towel and footwashing basin to the evening.

Join us as we remember this most holy occasion and share the Lord's Supper together.
